Reframing Human Rights Face to Face with HanVoice
The People’s Museum of North Korea brings the experiences of escapees and everyday North Koreans to life, blending a physical space with digital storytelling. Through this annual pop-up, we are able to tell the story of resillience. Visitors not only learn insights about North Korean human rights but also how they can support HanVoice, alongside the Government of Canada’s, historical pilot program that allows for North Korean refugee families to resettle in Canada. A feat only two other countries are allowed to do.
The first year, 2022 focused on the general human rights issues featuring illustration from North Korean refugee artist, Sun Mu. The following year, we brought to light the ‘Jangmadang Generation’, a grey-market that exist in villages throughout North Korea. PMNK 2023 launched on the evening of Nuit Blanche. 2024’s museum launched in New York City during the UN General Assembly at Korea Society. The special event titled ‘The Story of Divided Families’ drew attention to refugees separated from their loved ones. We took the museum public the same week in downtown NYC, sparking meaningful conversations and action which we hope to continue.
CONCEPT, DESIGN, CURATION
Synthesizing a Visual Language for Library of Infinities
We crafted a brand identity for Library of Infinities that embodies inclusivity, discovery, and reverence for Black imagination. To launch the brand, we also helped organize a symposium in Montreal, showcasing a range of influential voices to introduce the Library as a vital, collaborative space for cultural exchange. Through brand strategy, branding, website design, and events, we positioned Library of Infinities as a digital portal for learning, connection, and the celebration of Black creativity across generations.
BRANDING, STRATEGY, CREATIVE DIRECTION
Finessing the Future of Connected Fitness with Aviron
We helped Aviron transform into a consumer-facing brand that merges the thrill of gaming with fitness. Our work centered on developing a bold new brand identity, including a refined logo, vibrant color palette, powerful typography, and high-energy imagery, positioning Aviron as the go-to smart-rowing machine for competitive, results-driven users. By rooting the brand strategy in gaming insights, we tapped into the motivation of self-improvement and friendly competition to create a compelling and engaging brand narrative.
Our partnership culminated in a successful Series A raise led by Samsung Next and Y Combinator, with Aviron gaining recognition from Forbes, TechCrunch, and more as a rising star in the fitness tech industry. Through consumer insights, a relaunch campaign, and a reimagined visual identity, we established Aviron as a leading force in at-home fitness innovation.
Our work focuses on brand world-building: from shaping identities, catchy campaigns, down to how they participate on the internet. We facilitate creative strategy and execution no matter the business challenge in hopes to activate a vision your brand can dare step into.
